Rental Charges

Rental charges are billed according to the following schedule of rental charges:

Weekly Rate - Rental charge for 1 week - US$12 to US$15 (End User Price)
Daily Rate - Rental charge per day -& US$3 to US$4

For example: the rental charge for 9 days = US$12 + (US$3 x 2) = US$18

Each RoamFone Rental is made with an initial credit amount. Final accounting of the remaining credit is made at the closing of the rental contract. Renter pays for the cost of usage of phone calls made and received according to billing at per minute rates published in Rates Calculator of www.roamfonerental.com . There is a minimum airtime usage charge of US$25 per rental contract.

Account Top-up
Additional credit amount may be purchased in the form of Top-Up PINs which are available in various value amounts of US$25, US$50 and US$100 each. Unused Top-Up-PINS may be returned for credit.

Rental Contract and Security Deposit
At the signing of the rental contract, the renter (customer) agrees to allow the Rental Agent (i.e. the Travel Agent) to take a charge against the renter's credit card (VISA or Mastercard) the amount which is made up of the aggregate of the following cost items:

• Security Deposit Amount equal to the Purchase Price of the Rental Package
• An initial credit amount to cover the cost of usage (minimum amount is $25)
• Value amount of the Top-Up PINs that the rental wants to get
• An insurance premium amount for an all-risk insurance taken out on the RoamFone equal to 3% of the cost of the RoamFone

At the closing of the rental contract:

1. Provided that the renter returns the RoamFone, the security deposit amount will be credited back to the renter's credit card.

2. The rental charge accounting for the entire rental period is made according to the policy for charges above-stated in Rental Charges.

3. Accounting for the cost of usage will be made according to the policy for billing for usage taking into consideration initial credit amount and further top-up amounts made by renter.

What you get when you rent a RoamFone

The RoamFone that you rent from your local Travel Agency comes with

• a telephone number of the Greater Toronto Area and/or
• a local fixed line telephone number of the city/country of residence of the Travel Agency ("Local Number") (this is an optional feature for which a nominal extra service charge is applicable) and/or
• a fixed line telephone number of one or more of some 500 cities of 65 countries as Alias telephone number ("Alias"). Aliases are local fixed line telephone numbers of their respective cities/countries.Please enquire with your Travel Agent for details of availability and cost for the Alias service.

Before you go abroad, you would want to program for forwarding calls that are dialed to your personal mobile number and/or your office telephone number and/or your home telephone number to the Local Number of the RoamFone.

If you had taken advantage of the Alias service, ;you& will be able to offer an added convenience and cost saving feature that lets callers calling from cities/countries of the Alias to reach you by dialling the Alias as a local call.
